讲座地点:曲江校区西五楼A420(第一会议室)
报告内容简介:Ultra-precision freeform surfaces are complex surfaces that possess non-rotational symmetry and are widely used in various industrial applications. Due to the geometrical complexity of the ultra-precision freeform surfaces, this imposes a lot of research challenges in the fabrication and measurement of those surfaces. In this presentation, the speaker would like to share his research work and experience related to ultra-precision machining and freeform surface measurement which has being undertaken in the Partner State Key Laboratory of Ultraprecision Machining Technology at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Some examples of applications of the technologies in freeform optics are also discussed.
